Introducing a new liquid-powder formula with prismatic reflections that sculpts, highlights and models the face. Two products to try: Extra Dimension Skinfinish and Extra Dimension Eye Shadow.
Soon after my last MAC purchases from Shop MAC, Cook MAC and Viva Glam Nicki Minaj (swatches here), comes along another collection I was relatively looking forward to – mainly because I have seen so many positive reviews online. The highlighters are said to be very similar to those of Estée Lauder’s.

The Extra Dimension Skinfinish comes in three shades and I picked Superb – a warm, metallic beige-pink which I think is most suitable for medium skin tones like mine. If you are slightly lighter, Gilt will look amazing on you. And I think Glorify will look absolutely breathtaking on deeper skin tones.
I also picked up three Extra Dimension Eyeshadows in Modern Pewter, Sweet Heat and Havana. Colours from the line up weren’t as interesting as I thought they would be but nonetheless, the colour payoff, texture and blendability were excellent.
Modern Pewter is one of the more unique shades which captured my attention – it’s a silvery, olive taupe with multi-coloured shimmer. Absolutely gorgeous, absolutely complex. While I was at the counter, I swatched Modern Pewter with blue and green hues, works very nicely together and that’s probably one of the reasons I bought this.
Sweet Heat and Havana are some neutrals I can wear on a daily basis.
All swatches taken without flash, under natural sunlight. This collection is worth a swatch. The items are so smooth and creamy to touch, feels good and looks good.
