Product Description

A smooth, light liquid foundation that fits seamlessly against skin, instantly erasing conspicuous pores, acne scars, and skin roughness for even, perfect coverage all day long. Maintains optimal moisture balance all day. Minimizes the appearance of pores for smooth, supple-looking skin. Contains Micro-Smoothing Complex, a Shiseido-exclusive ingredient that protects against the harmful substance that accelerates decline in barrier function, which can cause skin roughening.

Provides a medium coverage, has a semi-matte finish and is suitable for normal to combination skin types.

My Thoughts

Each sachet of sample is sufficient for at least 3 usages but one has to empty the foundation into a pot – which I find quite troublesome. Generally, I prefer samples in tubes or bottles for easy usage and storage.

My first impression of this foundation is – it is very lightweight, very easy to blend. I use my Louise Young LY34 – Super Foundation Brush for this foundation and it applies very well. Consistency is slightly watery, giving me enough time to work with.

I would say that this foundation has a medium coverage, it conceals the reddness around my nose, blemishes and evens up my skin tone – it’s still necessary to conceal certain spots with a concealer. The finish is quite natural with a very minimal sheen peeping through – I like the finish.

I guess the lack of oil control will stop me from purchasing it full size.
