Laura Mercier Nail Lacquer in Sizzle is my first nail polish from the brand and I am already looking forward to getting more of them.
According to the brand, these nail polishes have an ultra-smooth formula which is chip-resistant, fast-drying and long-lasting. They do not contain formaldehyde, toluene or dibutyl phthalate (DBP). Each bottle contains 10.35ml of product and retails at USD18.
Sizzle is a bright orange-red with a cream finish. Smooth and easy to apply without streaking at all. The consistency is nice and creamy, providing full opacity in two coats. This shade is definitely sharp and crisp, quite a bright colour for Spring as this season is all about being pastel.
I am not sure if Laura Mercier made nail polishes before but they have surely gotten my attention and I am very much looking forward to getting Lavender Cloud from their Belle Nouveau Collection For Summer 2012. If given the chance, I would also like to purchase Cabana from this collection.
Take a peek at rest of the 4 shades and comparisons on The Beauty Look Book.
Thank you for looking.
