I just went for a mini-facial at Origins today, and got to try the Dr. Andrew Weil For Origins™ Mega-Bright Skin Illuminating UV Protector SPF 40/PA+++. It is THE BOMB. Having SPF40/PA+++ is great, and even better still, it dries without that nasty sheen that most sunblocks have.

I haven’t started using this range of products yet but I love the feather-light textures all of them have =)

What they do at their mini-facials is, after a skin consultation, pick suitable products targeting your skincare concerns and demonstrate them on you. Depending on whom you get attended to by, the experience can be meh or great. For me, I enjoyed it because my guide was friendly (chatty), knowledgeable, and professional. I got my mini-facial done at Robinsons Raffles City, and was attended to by Angie, a senior guide. She’s really good! My friend had her mini-facial done by a regular guide at the same time, but was not as wowed. I think if the mini-facial is good for people new to Origins: you can get introduced to Origins products and a simple treat at the same time.
I like most of the Origins products I’ve tried, but I don’t like the high marked-up prices. 😦 I’ve only purchased Origins products in stores when they’re having box-set promos.
