6 Foundations To Explore

One can never have too many foundations eh? Especially with new science and technology, foundations are more lasting, more skin-like and comes with more skincare benefits. Shopping for foundations is probably one of my favourite pass time. I have a few new foundations which I haven’t open yet so I really shouldn’t be looking into getting new ones for a while.

But I guess, sharing my 6 Foundations To Explore wouldn’t hurt as much, right?

I have been wanting to put up a list of foundations to try for a long time but this list always changes – I shall publish this entry before it changes again and here are the 6 foundations I would love to try in the near future.

1. CLARINS EVER MATTE SPF 15 OIL-FREE

A skin balancing foundation for all skin types.

The perfect shine-control, balancing foundation for women that want a complexion with a matte finish. Its plant-based “Skin Detox” complex regulates production of excess sebum in skin and helps tighten pores. The fluid, lightweight texture perfectly melts into the skin, allowing it to breathe, without any drying effect.

The complexion is enhanced with an invisible matte veil that remains flawless from morning to night.

2. FACE ATELIER ULTRA FOUNDATION

The heart and soul of FACE atelier – an innovative approach to foundation that allows you to be in control.

Ultra Foundation is a silicone-based emulsion that floats on top of the skin, doesn’t crease or flake and lasts all day long. Hydrating yet oil-free, it obscures tiny lines and pores to ensure a smooth finish. No primer needed! It’s built into Ultra Foundation, thanks to the super sophisticated, silicone-based formula.

Another bonus – it sets without powder, preserving the youthful, dewy finish.

  1. I love to tried the Lancôme 24H since it’s transfer-free. Is this available in SG? I did not saw this the last time I went pass a Lancôme counter.

  2. Out of the 6 foundations mentioned i think only 2 (at most)-the Clinique Even Better and the Becca Stick foundation (they have a store in Paragon) is currently available to sg..the Clinique Even Better foundation is good for everyday use but not fantastic for oil control, given the humid weather here plus an oily t zone, the foundation holds up decently enough throughout an 8 hr day with touchups..but not much oil control properties, more suited for normal or dry skin..Have heard a lot of the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra but dont think it will be here soon.. kicking myself for not trying out the Lancome Teint Idole that was here..Hoping that the Clarins Ever Matte will be here *fingers and toes crossed* lol…

  3. I really want to try #3 and #4 due to the oil control. I saw Clarins Ever Matte in UK but they didn’t have it in my shade. Bummer.

Looking forward to my next travel now 🙂 (Medium and Dark shades of foundation is not available where I live. Currently my only option is MAC.)

    • Hi Fieran,
      How have you been?
I am looking forward to my next travel too so I can check out some of the foundations above – 3 of them are not in Singapore yet!!
      But, no holidays planned..
So, I shall be patient =)

      • I’ve been alright 🙂 I hope you’re well. Maybe they’ll have the new foundations in Asia around summer? Some of the UK magazines were giving out samples of the 103 shade of Clarins Ever Matte so if you know anyone who has UK magazines, there might be a sample in there. Feelunique sells it online too. I really hope Singapore gets the new stuff. Then again there is definitely hope since Chanel Perfection Lumiere has arrived there 🙂

There’s also this other Chanel foundation, Vitalumiere in the compact form. It looks so cool but I doubt it’ll work on my oily skin.

        • I have been great, thanks!!
Busy as usual.. I hope they will eventually come to Singapore, we waited (well, Singapore waited) for almost 6 months for Chanel Perfection Lumiere to arrive!!
Vitalumiere is more moisturizing I believe.. I may be ideal for you during Winter?

  4. Hi Joey,
I have Clarins Ever Matte in my radar a while ago but didn’t test it yet. I leave in Paris and I’d be happy to help if you want a product that’s not available in Singapore 😉

    • Hi Alyssa,
This Estée Lauder foundation is not available in Singapore yet – I think it will launch next year..
I believe it’s already available in the US and UK..
