NARS Makeup Collection For Spring 2012

This shopping post is very, very late but nonetheless, I would like to show you what I got from NARS Makeup Collection For Spring 2012. With the help of a good friend, Sophia and her friend, I picked up the following items;-

  • Gaiety Blush – bright candy pink (reviewed + comparison by The Make-up Blogette)
  • Paramaribo Duo Eyeshadow – metallic brass / metallic bronze (reviewed + look by Messy Wands)
  • Lhasa Shimmer Eyeshadow – lavender grey (reviewed + comparison by The Beauty Look Book)
  • Abbey Road Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner – iridescent turquoise (reviewed + look by Beauty & Baggage)
  • Bilbao Satin Lipstick – shimmering topaz (reviewed + comparison by Café Makeup)

I am not sure if I have time to review any of these products, I am so sorry for the delay. Besides, we are moving into Summer collections now (excited) but I will probably do a look featuring them.

I love all the products I bought – really lucky as I ordered them solely based on online swatches and reviews. If you are interested to see more, please click on the links I have inserted above, very comprehensive reviews by my favourite beauty bloggers.

Other than the makeup items from Spring, I also purchased a bottle of Sheer Glow Foundation while I was in Hong Kong last year. I am loving it but the bottle is driving me crazy – too messy and I often pour out more than I need. I accidentally saw the Liquid Foundation Pump on Nordstrom and decided to get it.

With the pump, there is no room for the cap but the pump comes with a lock – which is handy in a way and still manageable for travels (must remember to turn and lock the pump).

I haven’t purchased anything from NARS Makeup Collection For Summer 2012 – not sure if I will. Maybe I shall be extremely patient until NARS comes to Singapore end of the year. Being a fan of their Velvet Matte Lip Pencils, I got to have Never Say Never and I think the Liberté Blush is very pretty too.

Did you pick up anything from NARS lately?

  1. I am wondering how many foundations do you own? Which brand makes the best one? If you could only have one, which would it be?

    • Hi Mimi,
You got me there, I was staring at my foundation stash – I couldn’t pick one!!
      LOL..
What about you? If you could only pick one, which would it be?

  2. I got the Pure Radiance tinted moisturizer. It will be perfect for spring and summer. It has a beautiful dewy finish.
About the Clarins Ever Matte… I finally tested it. It’s a little too soon to make a complete review but I should say it’s a really good foundation. It delivers a matte finish without looking cakey. I don’t powder and it lasts all day without shining. Maybe a little less effective in Singapore than in Paris as it’s more humid.
So my offer still stands if you’re interested 😉

    • Hi Mai Linh,
Awesome!! Have heard so much about their Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturizer but haven’t tried before – does it provide much coverage?
      You are tempting me!!
      Hmmmm..
Let me think and I shall PM you if I can’t sleep tonight =)
      Happy Sunday xx

      • It’s quite buildable sheer to medium coverage depends if you use your fingers or a brush. The texture feels a little like a gel, really fresh!
I love dewy and luminous foundation so if I should choose I’d rather take the Nars than the Clarins one 😉

  3. in your haul, im eyeing Bilbao Satin Lipstick =) yes because its near-nude and i think its just perfect =) i have my very first NARS blush in deep throat gifted to me by Penelope.. and dear.. i love it =)
