Look In Tan, Sunset & Riviére

Hello everyone, I have a sort of coral theme look for you today as this season is all about coral, peaches and oranges.

This look is fresh and easy to achieve – great for a day out with girlfriends, brunch or shopping. You can always switch up the lips for a more daring and dramatic result or you can skip the mint green highlight to keep the look more simple. But for me, I am loving the mint green highlight – I think that’s the key for this look.

Hope you like it.

Face

  • Prep face with a primer to add radiance to skin.
  • Apply foundation to even up skin tone.
  • Set rest of the face with loose powder or lightly dust some press powder to set with a big, fluffy brush.

Eyes
Quick and easy despite the look of it. Featuring the Dior 1 Couleur Eye Gloss in 560 Tan and 750 Sunset – these eye glosses are very easy to blend.

  • Apply Sunset all over the lids and blend to soften edges.
  • Apply Tan to the outer 1/3 of the lids and blend together with Sunset.
  • Tight line upper lash line with a black eyeliner – you can choose to use a deep brown if black is too strong for your liking.
  • Apply a brown eyeliner along the upper lids and soften edges with Tan.
  • Line 2/3 of your lower lash line with a brown eyeliner.
  • Blend to soften edges and darken the outer 2/3 of the lower lash line with Tan.
  • Apply Sunset to 1/3 of the lower lash line.
  • Apply Chanel Illusion D’Ombre in 87 Riviére to the inner corners of the eyes and blend upwards.
  • Apply mascara and some false eyelashes if needed.

Cheeks
For this look, I went for slightly more sculpted cheeks with a pop of coral and a little shimmer. This will help bring the entire look together.

  • Sculpt cheek bones with Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Rumour.
  • Apply a coral blush slightly above contour (hallows of the cheeks) and blend upwards.
  • Mix the two lightest shades from Burberry Sheer Summer Glow Natural Highlighting Compact and apply it on the highest points of the cheek bones.

Lips

  • Prep lips with lip balm/primer/lip essence.
  • Use a lip pencil to shape your lips
  • Apply lipstick to complete this look.

Thank you for looking.

    • Hi dear,
Dior Eye Glosses have a powdery finish, they lasts pretty well on me – no creasing nor fading in 8 hours..
But I don’t usually have issues with creasing or fading..
I try to wear an eyeshadow primer whenever I remember tho..
Because of their powdery finish, it’s best not to rub or touch the eyes because they are not smudge-proof IMO..
      Hope this helped..
