There’s nothing better than spending an evening with the boyfriend, having a great meal. For this dinner date, we have chosen Five & Dime Eatery – we have never been there but have heard nothing but good things about this place.

Yes, indeed, the services were good, food was delicious and ambient is nice and relaxing.

The location is pretty centralized and it has a private parking just behind the eatery – it’s complimentary too, very convenient for guests.

The setting is nice and cosy with natural light shinning in from the shop front’s windows. I reckon this place is perfect for hanging out with friends, a slice of cake during tea or a simple dinner date with your love one. It’s recommended to make prior reservations if you are planning to visit during peak hours or over the weekends.

It was a rainy day when we visited and we were super hungry – we ordered lots of food which I ended up packing home for supper that night.

I had root beer float – ah, reminds me so much for A&W and I miss their curly fries!!

Duck salad is delicious, Calamari is nice and fresh. Mak had their beef and it was very good too. My fish & chips was so-so, nothing fantastic but the chips that came with it – is super delicious.

Surely a place we would visit again. We love the food and the homey environment. Portion of food is quite large thus sharing is recommended. Next time I visit, I will order their desserts which looks so yummy.
