Bombay Express de Chanel

The makeup of the “Paris-Bombay” runway show whisks us away to a fantasized India where the mystery of black meets the sparkle of gold.

In conjunction with the opening of the newly renovated fragrance and beauty counter, the limited edition Bombay Express de Chanel collection is only available exclusively at Takashimaya Department Store.

I picked up Route des Indes de Chanel Illuminating Powder with Shimmer, S$100 for 15g of product, made in Italy and Le Vernis Nail Colour in Diwali, S$37 for 13ml of product, made in France.

Route des Indes de Chanel is truly a piece of art, I love the floral motif. It’s nicely pigmented with a velvety smooth texture. The sparkles is beautiful, like we always say, no one does sparkles like Chanel – it’s true. Diwali is something I thought I will not pick up but the irresistible balance of silver and gold charmed me.

More pictures and swatches coming up.

Thank you for looking.

  1. the lipstick is actually very pretty! Mag and I were swatching it, and totally attracted by the soft natural shade 🙂 The nail polish is very nice too, for a gold.. but I am not into gold…so safely skipped everything. Looking forward to your swatches and comparisons!

  2. totally late to the party (as usual)….i saw topkapi on ebay but do you think anything of those are real? even with the inflated price?
