The makeup of the “Paris-Bombay” runway show whisks us away to a fantasized India where the mystery of black meets the sparkle of gold.
In conjunction with the opening of the newly renovated fragrance and beauty counter, the limited edition Bombay Express de Chanel collection is only available exclusively at Takashimaya Department Store.
I picked up Route des Indes de Chanel Illuminating Powder with Shimmer, S$100 for 15g of product, made in Italy and Le Vernis Nail Colour in Diwali, S$37 for 13ml of product, made in France.
Route des Indes de Chanel is truly a piece of art, I love the floral motif. It’s nicely pigmented with a velvety smooth texture. The sparkles is beautiful, like we always say, no one does sparkles like Chanel – it’s true. Diwali is something I thought I will not pick up but the irresistible balance of silver and gold charmed me.
More pictures and swatches coming up.
Thank you for looking.
Oh wow that it pretty! I eagerly await your swatches before I decide whether I need this or not.
Coming up soon =)
the lipstick is actually very pretty! Mag and I were swatching it, and totally attracted by the soft natural shade 🙂 The nail polish is very nice too, for a gold.. but I am not into gold…so safely skipped everything. Looking forward to your swatches and comparisons!
Yes, the lipstick is nice..
Thought of getting it but I don’t think it will show much of a colour on my lips..
I am positive I am passing up on Route des Indes but I have a feeling I might cave in person. Diwali on the other hand… I must get, it’s lovely!
Didn’t think I will pick up anything from this collection at all until I see them..
Diwali is pretty =)
Everything is too pretty to pass and I was similarly charmed .. if only they’ll bring darn Topkapi back now .. it’d go perfectly with these *cries*
Topkapi is a bomb!!
This collection is really lovely!! I must go take a look… Diwali esp seems to be a must-get
You must try Diwali =)
Chanel is just too pocket-unfriendly! everything looks so pretty!
Everything looks to pretty right?
totally late to the party (as usual)….i saw topkapi on ebay but do you think anything of those are real? even with the inflated price?
Hmm.. I am not too sure about buying things from ebay!!
I reckon you must find one trusted seller?
