Have you heard or have you not – NARS is coming back to Singapore. Set to debut at TANGS Orchard in November – a few of us attended the press launch at the ArtScience Museum one fine afternoon. ArtScience Museum was the perfect venue to host this event as we will be expecting a NARS x Andy Warhol collection this Holiday.

For those who aren’t from Singapore, ArtScience Museum is currently having an Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal exhibition.

Huge works of art graced the event hall as we entered. After some mingling and some drinks, we stepped into the WORLD of NARS presentation. It’s exciting and definitely educational to learn more about the brand. And that NARS started his line with 12 lipsticks – look how much the brand has grown, it’s amazing.

After the presentation, we entered the NARS gallery where all their products were displayed neatly on pedestals and table tops. It’s almost surreal seeing NARS in Singapore – for a moment, I thought I was overseas.

I had no recollection of NARS in Singapore, probably because I wasn’t in Singapore during that period of time but it’s amazing to have them back. No more travelling abroad just to swatch some NARS, no more buying online sight unseen and the best part? We can now stalk the counter for their latest collections.

NARS Makeup Artists were flown in from Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan to give anyone of us who wishes – a mini makeover. Many ladies were rocking bright lips after the event.

A preview of their newest revamped skincare line – NARS Skin, Fall collection and Eyeliner Stylo were also available on that day. Packaging of NARS Skin is beautiful – we received several items from the range and I am looking forward to trying them.

Prior to the press launch, NARS have been sending makeup mails every Monday – for 5 weeks. Each week features one or two of their signature products and the Jungle Red Nail Polish (pictured above) was one of them. I will be featuring each of the signature products in time to come – they are splendid.
