This event is long overdue and I do apologize sincerely about that – better late than never, correct?
Lancôme held a press event late July to celebrate the launch of their new Ombre Hypnôse Mono Eyeshadow – a range of 22 stunning and irresistible shades. The 22 new long-wearing shades are available in 3 intensities and 4 finishes so we can mix and play to achieve a signature statement for ourselves.
Pictured below is Makeup Maestro Larry Yeo working his art on a face chart.
Besides the new Ombre Hypnôse Mono Eyeshadow, Lancôme has also released a range of makeup brushes. More information about them in upcoming posts.
Highlight of the press event was the special appearance of Michelle Phan. I am sure most if not all of you have heard of her and seen her videos on Youtube.
Michelle Phan is a 25-year-old American makeup guru on YouTube and the official video makeup artist for Lancôme. As of July 2012, Michelle’s how-to videos have been viewed more than 600 million times and she has over 2,000,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Seeing her in real life was surreal – she is the first YouTube makeup gurus I watched and she looks and sounds exactly the same in real life.
With the ladies during the event, Kas and Chantana.
The following day, Michelle Phan had an intimate session with some of us bloggers. During this meet up, we were able to get up close and personal with her – asking questions and chatting over a cup of tea. Many thanks to Yanny and Lancôme for all the arrangements.
Michelle is filled with positive energy and it was very inspiring meeting her. Not only she looks good, she speaks very well too.
Have you checked out any of Lancôme’s new eyeshadows and brushes? I received a few press samples and I can’t wait to play with them and create looks. I am also very much in love with their Plume Liner which creates precise and long-lasting line – love the jet-black finish.
Thank you for reading.
Why I smile until like that ^____^
I like your first few pics… so nice (mine all turn out blurry… lolx)
Most of my pictures didn’t turn out well either – I blame the lighting =(
We all smiled “like that” la, lol..
