Speaking of being very excited in my last post, this set of polishes from Estée Lauder Metal Mania Pure Color Nail Lacquer Collection made me even more excited. I can’t wait to share all the swatches with you because I am madly in love with every single one of them that I got.

Chaos – a pewter-grey metallic with ultra-fine multi-coloured shimmer.

This shade is stunning in every way and versatile in so many ways. Although it has a cooler undertone, the multi-coloured shimmer adds a touch of warmth and made it more wearable across more skin tones. This shade actually reminded me of Deborah Lippmann Dancing In The Dark but of course, they are quite different.

If you are up for a “when glam meets rock” style, this is a shade for you.

Explosif* – an antique olive-gold metallic with ultra-fine multi-coloured shimmer.

This is probably one of the more wearable shades across the board because of its warm golden undertone. I find that it brightens up my fingers and it looks subtle yet complex at the same time.

For a sophisticated Christmas dinner, this shade can never go wrong.

Fiery Hot – a muted, slightly dirty brown-red metallic with ultra-fine multi-coloured shimmer.

I find this shade the most unique amongst the rest. It contains pink, rose, silver and gold shimmers suspended in an antique red wood brown base – making it as complex as it can be.

This shade and tone seems rather understated in my opinion and is great for all occasions.

Smashed* – a vibrant purple-plum metallic with ultra-fine multi-coloured shimmer.

The season for purple and plums? This is no doubt one of the most gorgeous purple this season. It’s vibrant in its own discreet way. I like how it brightens up my fingers without being too loud at the same time.

Elegant and chic – perfect for a “red carpet event” or even a casual brunch over the weekend.

Texture of all four polishes are nice and smooth – easy to apply without streaking nor being patchy. Two coats do the trick but I would go for the third coat if I have time because I feel that it enhances the shimmer a lot better. Formula is great and dries quickly in between coats. They are definitely not one-coaters as the first coat is rather sheer.

Personally, I can’t pick just one. I love all four of them but I think I like Smashed the most (could be due to my current obsession with dark nail colours), Chaos captured my heart too and I think Fiery Hot is quite a unique addition to my current stash.

Which is your favourite shade out of the four?
