Do you know that Make Up Store makes some of the most beautiful nail colours in town? They have a wide array of colours available, whether you are looking for reds, nudes, pinks, blues or purples – they will have something for you as their selection is huge with diverse finishes.
Today, I have Kaja and Tanja for you – both shimmer.
Let’s start with Kaja, a gorgeous maya blue with ultra fine silver sparkles.
This polish applies smoothly and the sparkles cover the entire nail evenly. A possible one-coater but I will do two for more opaque results because I have longer nails at the moment. The texture is creamy and easy to apply. It has the right consistency too, neither too think nor too thin.
I love everything about this shade but I am not sure if I can pull off such a candy colour. I will definitely check out other shades in the same series.
Moving onto Tanja, a shade released from their Coral Makeup Collection For Summer 2012 earlier this year – a glistening hunter green with a complex blend of green, teal, gold and aqua micro-shimmers.
I feel that this deep shade is perfect for this season although it was released for Summer. Perhaps I am still obsessed with dark nails, period. Texture of this polish seems to be less refined as compared to Kaja but still good and easy to apply. 2 coats do the trick without being patchy nor streaky.

Overall, for the price – I think they are totally worth checking out. Some of their colours are pretty complex and the quality is good. Both shades dried relatively quickly too and they lasts well for a few days (won’t be able to comment much as I don’t usually leave polishes on for more than 3 days).
Have you tried their nail polishes before? What are your thoughts?
