Hello everyone, a have a quick feature on one of my favourite lipsticks at the moment for you today. It’s the Cosme Decorte AQ MW Lipstick in BE 878 Bustier – the perfect coral nude for me.
Retails at S$51 for 4g of product, made in Japan.
Available in 20 flattering shades. Please refer to this post for more details on other Cosme Decorte AQ MW offerings and this post for swatches of 4 other gorgeous shades from their Fall collection.
Packaged in a similar design to their eyeshadow quad – I have previously reviewed Cosme Decorte AQ MW Eyeshadow in 018 here if you are interested, not only does the lipstick’s matte plastic casing comes with intricate motive carvings, the lipstick itself bears the same printings. How beautiful is that?
Just like the eyeshadow palette, it’s light yet sturdy and I love that the casing is not a finger print magnet. The packaging also features a sleek and modern silver skirting which matches the AQ MW logo.
Cosme Decorte AQ MW Lipstick in BE 878 Bustier is a nude coral-beige with lovely pink sheen. Texture of this shade is smooth and creamy. It glides onto the lips nicely and it provides medium to full coverage – with a satin finish. For more shine, I suggest adding a thin layer of gloss.
The formula feels comfortable on the lips and lasts pretty well for a nude shade. It’s not particularly moisturizing but it didn’t dry my lips out either. For more moisture, I always wear a lip balm under and over the lipstick.
I think Cosme Decorte AQ MW Lipstick in BE 878 Bustier is a beauty. It’s able to “conceal” my naturally pigmented lips without making me look pale. I adore this shade and the pink sheen makes it very wearable – I can pair this lip colour with green, brown, blue or black smoky eyes.
I like the formula and texture but having said that, this is not the most unique shade – and did I mention it’s lightly scented? I love the smell of it.
For more information and products I have used in the look above, please refer to this post. Do you own any Cosme Decorte lipsticks? I may pop by their counter to check out the other 19 shades soon.
Thank you for looking.
Hi Joey,
You’re tempting me with this review. 🙂 But it’s so expensive. How would you compare Bustier to Chanel Rouge Coco Shine – Boy? Would really love to hear your thoughts.
Hi Jen,
They are both very, very different – Bustier is a coral nude with shimmer/frost and Boy is a pink-ish nude.
Bustier has a satiny finish whereas Boy has a natural shine sort of finish.
Formula of Boy is more moisturizing IMO but Bustier is not drying either =)
Hope I helped xx
That’s a lovely shade! I love nude to coral hues 🙂
Yes, it’s a very pretty shade in gorgeous packaging too =)
