TGIF everyone, what are your plans for the weekend? This month is madness and my skin is misbehaving again but getting better – fingers crossed. I am sorry this post is late and I have back-dated it for easy reference.

Strange enough, the Christmas vibe has taken over the worries of my skin. Shopping for Christmas presents, meeting up with friends and visiting the newly revamped TANGS Orchard – wow. Before zooming into December – featuring the “Best Of” series, I shall quickly share my 5 favourites this month.

First off, the Clarins Extra-Comfort Toning Lotion for dry or sensitized skin. Formulated with aloe and is alcohol-free, this toner has helped me combat my skin’s sensitivity this month. It smells heavenly – to me and it hydrates unconditionally. Consistency of this toner is slightly thicker than the usual and a little goes a long way. I enjoy using this day and night.

My impression of Burberry Lip Mist is light and sheer – Feather Pink is light and sheer but it provides enough coverage and colourant for my lips. I like how this pink gives me a cheerful (and sweet) look. This shade brightens up my complexion too.

Texture of this lip mist is soft, smooth and silky. Glides onto the lips just like a lip balm with a healthy looking (slightly glossy) finish.

I have been obsessed with Make Up Store Eye Pencil in Chocolate Cheese Cake. If I need a brown eyeliner, this is my go-to. If I need a brown base for my eyeshadows or a shade to smudge along the upper lash line, this is my go-to. This shade is a gorgeous soft metallic brown with brown shimmers.

The formula is smooth and creamy – very easy to apply as an eyeliner or a cream shadow. It doesn’t smudge all day which is a real plus for me.

Chanel Le Vernis in Malice needs no further introduction. Loving this shade so much.

D.U.P False Eyelashes in 913 is my current favourite. I think they are around S$20+ for a set of 2 pairs, available at Watsons. This particular style is almost 3/4 in width, fits my eyes perfectly – I don’t have to cut off any access which is really convenient when I am in a rush.

This pair also looks very natural with a blend of brown and black hairs. Looks stunning with or without any eye makeup. Great for everyday use – I am quite impressed with their quality, each pair can last for at least 6 uses.
