Yes, I have fallen very much in love with the YSL nail polishes. I love everything about them and if you haven’t tried them yet, you must do so now. I love their brush applicator and colour range – though I wish they have even more colours so I can fill in the blanks according to my current stash.
Quick swatches for 1 Rouge Pop Art & 18 Bleu Majorelle for you this evening – a bright red and a bright blue.
I have been enjoying both shades tremendously recently – I like wearing red on my fingers and blue on my toes. And every time I meet my friends, they ask what’s on my toes. Now you know.
Each bottle retails at S$35 for 10ml of product, made in France.
1 Rouge Pop Art is a striking bright red.
And 18 Bleu Majorelle is a striking bright blue.
I believe 1 Rouge Pop Art is YSL’s signature red nail colour like their iconic Rouge Pur Couture in 01 Le Rouge. For red fanatics, there is a gift set featuring both lip and nail products at YSL TANGS Orchard – I am not sure if it’s still available, saw it a few weeks ago. I think it’s a pretty awesome gift too.
Both colours have excellent formulation, smooth and opaque in 2 thin coats. No streaking and no patches. I can only say, I need more. Are there any colours you are interesting in getting?
Thank you for looking.
Swatches taken under natural day light without flash. Swatches swatched with Nail Tek Foundation II, 2 coats of nail polish and Deborah Lippmann Hard Rock Hydrating Hardener.
Both look so so gorgeous in your photos! I remember that red lippy/lacquer set – v tempting!
Thanks Kas =)
