Hello everyone, I have a quick post for you this morning – I want to share one of my favourite nail polish shades with you, it’s stunning.
Each bottle retails at S$35 for 10ml of product, made in France.
Yves Saint Laurent La Lacquer COUTURE in 28 Bronze Aztec is a gorgeous jewel tone deep olive-bronze with multi-colour shimmers. It has a slightly metallic finish. Depending on the angle and lighting, this shade may appear almost black, dark olive or antique bronze.
I love everything about 28 Bronze Aztec, I think this shade is one of a kind. Texture and consistency is brilliant with amazing pigmentation – almost a 1 coater.
I like to pair this shade of polish with taupe-ish green, olive eyeshadows and peach nude, coral lips. Personally, I find 28 Bronze Aztec deep and mysterious but nothing gothic. A very wearable shade across most skin tones I believe and I have been enjoying it.
Thank you for looking.
Swatches taken under natural day light without flash. Swatches swatched with Nail Tek Foundation II, 2 coats of nail polish and Seche Vite Top Coat.
I was swooning over this one a while ago. It’s so pretty but I never tried a YSL np before so I was a bit scared to just buy it. But now seeing those photos… ;).

Hi May,
I am not sure, my guess is not yet =)
This is a gorgeous color! I also love YSL polishes as they always have great consistency. Great photos, thanks for the review!
Most welcome Rachael =)
Can’t wait for their Spring 2013 nail polishes!!
Looks like this is pretty similar to Dolce & Gabbana’s Stromboli, but the particles are finer. If you ever get the chance to visit a D&G counter, you should check it out!
Hihi,
Sadly, I have no access to D&G makeup here =(
I will surely check them out if I ever have the chance!!
