I have a quick post for you today featuring Lancôme Rose Macaron Vernis In Love. This nail polish is from their In Love Makeup Collection For Spring 2013 which is readily available island-wide.
I believe Rose Macaron is available for sale individually in other countries but in Singapore, it is a “gift with purchase” item with either Blush In Love or Palette In Love.
Each bottle contains 6ml of product, made in France.
Remember my review of five Vernis In Love last November? If you don’t, you can find it here. Those five polishes didn’t quite impressed me because of its lack of longevity and finish.
I was naturally very excited when I found out that Rose Macaron is newly formulated and apparently in an Asian formulation. For those who have been waiting, the full range of Vernis In Love will be available later this year and I can’t wait.
Back to the gorgeous Rose Macaron – it’s a bright brink pink with a cream finish. The texture is smooth and non-streaky. I had a breeze painting my nails and the pigmentation is brilliant. Two coats to achieve opacity and guess what? It has a glossy finish.
The formula dries quickly and lasts through 2 full days – I am on my third now and they are still looking pretty amazing.
I would totally recommend checking this nail polish out. I think it pairs very well with the brand’s seasonal offerings – Blush In Love, Baume In Love and Khôl In Love. This shade is love and perfect for Spring.
Thank you for looking.
Swatches taken under natural sun light, without flash with 2 coats of nail polish; no base nor top coat.
