Happy Chinese New Year Everyone

Happy Chinese New Year Everyone (1)

Hello everyone, I haven’t had the chance to wish all of you – Happy Chinese New Year. May the year of snake brings you joy, great health and wealth.

Have been a while since my last proper post. My days have been so filled up with spring cleaning house and getting ready for new year. I went home for a week and spent a wonderful time with the family. Now that I am back, I have so much errands and work to sort out.

While packing my luggage, I realised I didn’t buy any red clothings this year – I don’t usually wear red so I guess pinks and creams will do too?

Had my facial done about a week before new year at Kanebo Cosmetics Inc. using Impress. The facial was really good and I like the location (UE Square) – it’s close to town but not directly so traffic and parking wasn’t a problem during office hours.

They offer a range of treatments and prices are reasonable, look for Grace if you wish to understand more about the treatments.

Treated my hair with a new coat of colour at Act Point Salon, Dhoby Ghaut. I am loving it. It’s darker and definitely silkier. Many thanks to Shiseido for the kind sponsor. Give Bro Kiek, the Salon Manager a shout if you visit – he provides honest opinions and tips on hair styling.

And because February is such a short and busy month for me, I opt for a bright, hot pink Gelish for my finger tips. Gelish never fails to impress, it’s still looking bright and glossy today.

A few events happened before new year and I shall share more details about them soon. Expect some NARS, Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay in the next few days.

I bought my first Pandora bracelet during this new year break. I am so in love with it and I can see it’s going to be an expensive addiction. I first picked out the rat because it’s so cute – and I am born in the year of rat, so I must have it. Then I picked the bracelet, stopper, safety chain and everything in between.

It took me about an hour to put this together. And there is always room for expansion.

If you are building your first Pandora bracelet and if you are getting their signature catch bracelet, I highly recommend getting the safety chain – unless you have no charms between the stopper and catch. There are so many charms I like – particularly the abstract pave silver charms with coloured cubic zirconia as accent pieces.

The crown is a must have. And abstract faceted silver charm with coloured murano glass.

The duck, camera, union jack bus, heart lock and dog house are all on my wish list. In Singapore, during promotion (if you spend a certain amount), you get vouchers – I received a complimentary facial/massage voucher last year. In Malaysia, you get a free charm – I got the suitcase.

I also have some accessories from Chanel, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Hermès to share. Will do so in future posts. Good night and speak to you all soon.

Thank you for looking.

  1. Happy New Year Joey!! I seemed to skip the red clothing theme this year too… actually I think the last time I wore read was probably when I was a kid :p
Looking forward to your posts about all your new goodies 🙂 The accessories look gorgeous!
