Hello everyone, I am here today, to share my thoughts about the NEW Moisture White™ Shiso BB Serum Inside by The Body Shop. Have been a while since I last used products from the brand. I remember their Tea Tree skincare range and White Musk fragrance are amongst my favourite during school days.

PACKAGING

The Moisture White™ Shiso BB Serum Inside is packaged in a white plastic bottle fitted with a user-friendly pump dispenser. Size of the bottle is handy and at the same time, travel-friendly. The pump dispenser allows you to control the amount you need and 1 pump is more than enough for my entire face and neck.

I usually go for slightly over half a pump for both areas.

SHADE, TEXTURE & FORMULA

This product comes in only one shade for the time being and the shade works wonderfully on me. There are many BB Creams with grey tinge, pink undertones or BB Creams that create a white cast in the market which needs more blending and possibly an extra layer of foundation/loose powder to colour correct. This shade of beige has little to no grey tinge and it blends into my skin tone seamlessly.

After it settles for a few minutes, I noticed a brighter and more radiant complexion.

The Moisture White™ Shiso BB Serum Inside has a natural, glowy and radiant finish – on dry skin or in cooler countries, you may not require any loose powder at all but where I am and with my combination skin type, I definitely have to set with some loose powder to take away the shine around my T-zone.

Texture of this product is dense and creamy at the same time. It’s very easy to blend and the formula allows plenty of time for blending.

Speaking of formula, I didn’t manage to test it out for a straight 4 weeks but I have been using it almost daily (on and off) for a couple of weeks. With that, I am unable to comment on the full benefits of this product.

However, I noticed my skin tone is more even and my complexion is more radiant. At this point of time, I am also unable to judge if it’s because of my skincare regime or mainly because of this product. Do note that I wear this product for very long hours – about 10 on certain days.

COVERAGE & LONGEVITY

Coverage is pretty impressive – I would say that this number provides sheer to medium coverage. It’s able to even up my skin tone, conceal redness around my nose, cheeks plus certain spots and scars. With this product, I can do without a concealer on a day-to-day basis (I don’t usually wear much concealer).

Over the weekends, when I only need a bit of makeup to look fresh – I apply a light dusting of translucent loose powder over it. And on work days, I use either a loose powder with light coverage or a compact foundation (with a big fluffy brush) to set it – this provides adequate coverage for me throughout the day.

I am also very impressed with the oil-control properties and longevity of this product. Blotting is still necessary for me around my T-zone during mid-day but this product lasts very well without sliding, smudging nor caking.

I like to use a buffing brush with this product. After buffing, my skin looks smoother and pores seems less visible especially around my nose area.

OVERVIEW

I have sensitive skin and some times, whitening products break me out but surprisingly, the Moisture White™ Shiso BB Serum Inside didn’t and I am very grateful for that.

This product kept my skin looking bright and luminous all day long. With a little blotting and touch-up around my T-zone area, I look as fresh as I stepped out of my house in the morning. I have all the 8 benefits mentioned above checked.

I truly enjoy this product – with it, I dropped my hydrating/brightening serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation. I apply straight after my toner and this hard-working, affordable and multi-tasker does it all.
