Good afternoon everyone, a quick post on some SISLEY Phyto Lip Glosses I picked up recently. As you know, I am not a very lip gloss person but these blew me right away – they are so beautifully pigmented. They feel nice and creamy on the lips without being heavy.
Each SISLEY Phyto Lip Gloss retails at S$64 for 6ml of product, made in France. Available in 7 shades from natural nude to bright red and deep brown.
I was particularly attracted to its pigmentation and high gloss qualities. Not to mention these lip glosses come in very sleek and polished tubes. Instead of a sponge applicator which I much prefer, they come in little brush applicators – good and bad.
It takes a few more strokes to fill up my lips but the brush size actually allows precise application which is helpful.
All swatches taken under natural sun light, without flash.
Swatches from left to right;-
- 2 Beige Rosé – a soft natural nude-beige
- 3 Rose – a soft coral-nude
- 5 Bois de Rose – a burnt deep brown with the slightest inclusion of red
- 6 Rouge – bright red with subtle shimmers
I swatched all seven shades available at the counter (on my lips) and I couldn’t decide on 1 or 2 – so I picked up 4 of them. I love them all and the fact that they make my dry lips seem very well hydrated.
The pigment and shine envelopes my lips, creating a lustre veil over my lip lines – it’s such a beautiful sight. It’s glossy and shiny – not thick nor sticky at all. But glosses are still glosses, they aren’t exactly very long-lasting – after coffee, it’s gone but I really don’t mind touching up.
Have a swatch the next time you pass by their counter.
Thank you for looking.
