Hello everyone, today I have yet another set of Chanel nail polish swatches for you. This post features two nail colours from Chanel’s Summer Collection, L’été Papillon de Chanel. In this collection, you will find three new and limited edition nail polishes – I purchased 657 Azuré and 667 Bel-Argus, decided to give 647 Lilis a miss.

Each bottle retails at S$38 for 13ml of product, made in France.

I knew I wanted both teal-blue hues as soon as I saw them online – if you don’t already know, I am currently in a blue craze. Anything blue goes but I must say, 657 Azuré captured my heart more in this pair.

657 Azuré is a blue-green metallic shade, very interesting and complex. It’s slightly three-dimensional and captures light from every angle. Spot where light shines will be slightly more green whereas the edges get a tinge of blue peeking through. I love the complexity of it, like fish scales.

667 Bel-Argus also has a metallic finish. I find this shade less complex and harder to handle – the finish seems to reflect brush strokes which is less apparent in 657 Azuré. But nonetheless, it’s a beautiful colour.

Consistency of both colours are similar to rest of their nail polishes. I find the consistency easy to apply and doesn’t clump.

Texture and finish of 657 Azuré feels similar to Delight, Diwali and Gold Fingers (a lot more sheer) but bears a more metallic sheen and less glittery. 667 Bel-Argus is slightly denser and trickier to apply.
