Chanel’s recent launches have caught all my attention. I picked up a few items from their summer collection as well as their new base products. Fronted by one of my all time favourite models, Gisele Bündchen and look at the beige packaging – I just need to have a piece of Les Beiges.
I picked up both Les Beiges Multi-Action All-In-One Healthy Glow Cream SPF 30/PA+++ [S$82] in N°20 and Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Powder SPF 15/PA++ [S$80] in N°10. Both available at TANGS Orchard except the much raved about Les Beiges Retractable Kabuki Brush – it was out of stock.
If you noticed I got the cream in N°20 and powder in N°10 – that’s because when I tried both in N°20, the outcome is rather orange. I am considering getting another powder in N°30 for contouring sides of my face.
Mabel from She Shops Makeup reviewed the powder here and brush here.
L’été Papillon de Chanel Summer 2013 features bright and colourful mascaras. Very tempted to get one or two to play with, I am in love with Aqua Blue.
But I guess the following will keep me occupied for a long time, so let’s not think about those colourful mascaras first.
I am not sure if Les 4 Ombres in 44 Métamorphose is available in Singapore, I didn’t see it on the display. This is, a limited edition eyeshadow palette I purchased from my recent trip to Taipei.
Another item for the eyes is, Stylo Yeux Waterproof in 57 True Blue.
I also picked up two nail polishes from the collection – Le Vernis in 657 Azuré and 667 Bel-Argus, swatches shall soon follow. What are your picks from Chanel this Summer?
Thank you for reading.
Joey I found out we do not have Le Beiges Glow Cream in Australia. I used No 20 which is the fairest of all. Tell me more about the cream.:)
Hi Lilian,
Oh dear, why isn’t it available? Apparently Les Beiges isn’t launched in the US yet?
Anyway, I will try to share some thoughts on both Les Beiges products as soon as I have the chance to try them..
Happy weekend xx
I wanted to get the Les Beiges powder but after my vacation I think I have become at least two shades darker. There isn’t a suitable powder for me. Boo! I do look forward to see your swatches and review. Sigh the glow cream sounds awesome too.
Hi Jacqueline,
This happened to me before, I bought a few foundations before my trip to Bali and when I got back, I am at least 2 shades darker..
I had to repurchase another foundation and powder to use because my tan takes incredibly long to fade =(
Fingers crossed this won’t happen to me again..
I haven’t used either yet but there are definitely in Q for review =)
Happy Saturday dear xx
My dear, did you notice that the normal blushes and lippies that you love to use seems also a little off. I can’t seem to wear some of my favorite pink at the moment. Guess I have to wait till I get my normal skin tone back again.
Yes dear, I felt like nothing seems to gel..
Well, lesson learn, I will never ever get myself sun burnt again..
Haha..
