A few months back, I was invited to MAKE UP FOR EVER Make Up School at Ngee Ann City (corner of Sephora) for a makeup lesson. The lesson I went for focuses on creating flawless complexion with their new White Definition Instant Brightening Powder Foundation. More about this product can be found in this post.

I don’t frequent Sephora Ngee Ann City nowadays and was quite amazed with their newly renovated extension. I am particularly impressed with MUFE Make Up School – a cozy corner filled with makeup, tools and makeover stations.

Sephora Ngee Ann City carries all MUFE products except their professional line – which is available at their PRO LOFT at 36 Armenian Street.

Makeover stations are tucked away from the entrance, a quite corner offering privacy and a place where you can concentrate to learn from the professional MUFE makeup artists. Each station comes with fully equipped tools, cleansing materials and lighting.

For me, this is the perfect place for a quick makeup lesson – spend 15 mins to learn some SOS Pro Tips on who to hide or cover up blemishes or learn how to achieve expressive and bigger eyes through false lashes.

If you have more time, say 30 mins – you can opt for Focus Make Up Lessons. Learn the trick of achieving a flawless and radiant, ready-to-wear or fresh and natural everyday complexion makeup. If you have 75 mins to spare, go for a Complete Make Up Lesson at S$60 to perfect your makeup skills and techniques targeting eyebrows, eyes, complexion and lips.

I went for two Focus Make Up Lessons that day, namely;-

Simply Perfect Complexion

Eyebrow Styling

Each lesson took approximately 30 mins and is priced at S$30 per lesson.

The makeup artist started off by introducing each product and tool followed by explaining the correct application steps and techniques. She then demonstrates on half of my face – what I had to do is, to replicate what she had done to the other side of my face.

The lessons were conducted in an easy-to-follow manner, great for beginners who needs extra tips. Questions were always welcome during the lessons and the 1 hour I spent at MUFE Make Up School was definitely fun and educational.

I tried on some pretty thick brows that day – wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance of a professional.
