To achieve the campaign’s glamorous beauty look, prepare skin with Pore Refining Primer to create an even canvas. Using the sponge applicator, smooth Radiant Cream Compact Foundation over the face and blend outward.

Next, tap Radiant Creamy Concealer under the eyes with a finger. To add contour to the face, sweep Lovejoy Blush into the hollows of the cheeks and upward toward the temple and above the brow bone. Create a radiant glow by dusting Albatross Highlighting Blush Powder onto the cheekbones, the hairline, and the high points of the face. Prep eyelids with Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. Apply Corfu Cream Eyeshadow from lashline to brow.

Next, layer Fez Single Eyeshadow on the lid and softly under the eye. Sweep Sophia Single Eyeshadow along the bridge of the eye. Using a finger, highlight the brow bone with Copacabana Multiple, blending outward. Define the top lashline with Via Veneto Larger Than Life® Long-Wear Eyeliner, and fill in brows with Brow Perfector. Finish with two coats of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara brushed onto lashes.

For high-impact shine, swipe Norma Larger Than Life Lip Gloss onto lips, followed by Jungle Red Lipstick to create a stain. Softly define lips with Jungle Red Lip Liner Pencil.

How is Radiant Cream Compact Foundation different from existing NARS foundations?

We have liquid foundations, a powder version, and a tinted moisturizer. Radiant Cream Compact is, in a way, a combination of all of them. It’s a cream, so it’s moisturizing, and supplies all the coverage of a liquid foundation. It’s like the best of all worlds. And it’s portable, too, so you can take it with you for touch-ups throughout the day.

Can you describe the coverage?

It’s medium to full, buildable coverage. You can layer it, but it will never look like a mask. I like to think of it as a liquid foundation to-go: It delivers that same dewy radiance but in a portable version, which is very convenient.

What skin type is this kind of foundation best suited?

It’s great for all skin types, with the exception of those with very oily skin, who can use Sheer Matte Foundation.

Why are the compacts and the foundation sold separately?

In Asia, it is already common practice to sell a compact and a refill separately. It’s a more environmentally friendly way to enjoy makeup, since you no longer have to throw away a compact when it is finished. Instead, you simply refill it.

How do you recommend applying it?

I always prep skin with primer first; it just gives the skin a very even surface. For sheerest coverage, dampen the sponge and apply foundation evenly to face. You can continue building coverage by allowing foundation to set, then layering. Start in the center of the face, the area that usually needs the most coverage, and work outward. It can also be used for touch-ups over our Sheer Glow Foundation.
