Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, Brisbane

One of the other highlights of our trip is our visit to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. I have not seen a koala this close before, let alone hug one. We arrived early in the morning, walked around and explored the area and fed the kangaroos.

Spent the last bit of our visit at the Kangaroo Reserve feeding kangaroos. The little niece loves it so if you are traveling with little ones, you should definitely include this in your itinerary.

Thank you for looking.

  1. I went to this koala reserve decades ago, I had forgotten all about it. One thing I remember is how surprisingly soft a koala is. They are very cuddly.
