Brisbane, the first city I visited in Australia many, many years ago. And I have not returned until this trip, and I must say, the feeling is so different. I enjoyed every bit of this trip but I must say, our stop at Brisbane for 4 nights was a little too long. I don’t know about you but I couldn’t find much to do in the city itself?
We stayed at Oaks Aurora Apartment beautifully located in the heart of Brisbane CBD overlooking the riverside.
The Wheel of Brisbane and a scroll along South Bank, a glass of ice chocolate at La Dolce Vita Ristorante along Milton and a few visits to the casino were a couple of things we did.
Breakfasts at Riverbar Kitchen is a must if you are near. They serve the best sourdough bread and latte.
Another restaurant worth mentioning is Pig ‘N’ Whistle. Their fish & chips, delicious.
And we celebrated our first wedding anniversary in Brisbane. How time flies — thanks for the flowers and lovely surprise.
Here’s the only photo I took of our beach house in Noosa — it comes with an outdoor pool!!
Thank you for looking.
