Hello everyone, this post is rather overdue as this collection came and gone a few months ago. However, I would love to share my likings and thoughts of the only product I picked up from MAC Fall Colour Collection.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade is one of my favourite products in October and I am still liking it till now. Unless I am trying a new highlighter or finishing powder, I have been going back to Lighscapade ever since I got it. This product first debut a few years ago but I didn’t pick one up then and I am happy I did this time.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade is described as a “soft candlelit beige with multi-dimensional shimmer”. The texture is soft and finely milled. Although it swatches a tad too pale on my hand, it blends perfectly well onto my face. And because the shimmer are so fine, it doesn’t emphasize pores and/or lines so much – I think this is the most attractive part of the product to me.
I typically use it under my brows, top of my cheek bones and cupid’s bow for definition and glow. The subtle sheen makes it wearable on a daily basis and because it doesn’t contain any glitter or large sparkles, it blends onto the skin very seamlessly and naturally. If you wish for an even more natural finish, blend it over liquid or cream foundation before setting with loose powder. It will look as if your skin is glowing from beneath.

Thank you for reading.
This looks like such a beautiful product and it’s such a shame I’ve missed this collection! =(
