Givenchy Instant Bucolique Makeup Collection For Spring 2012

This Spring, Givenchy launched some amazing products – let’s take a look at what I picked up.

Givenchy Le Prisme Yeux – Quatour in 79 Bucolic Blossoms, retails at S$81 for 4 x 1g of product, made in Italy.

Isn’t the colours cheerful and beautiful? After I got this palette, I saw Lisa Eldridge using it in one of her videos here. I would really love to try that look on myself – not sure if the colours will pop as much as I am a lot more tan than the model, Meve.

This quad consists of a brown, celeste blue, baby pink and wisteria purple – a combination of soft, delicate hues which I don’t currently own.

Another cheek/face product from Spring – this Spring is all about glowy cheeks isn’t it?

The Givenchy Le Prisme Blush Bucolique in 1 Bucolic Rose retails at S$76 for 7g of product, made in Italy. I wouldn’t say this is quite a blush because of it’s translucent and sheer appearances – it works really well as a cheek highlight, over a blusher.

Or if you want to skip blush, this would be beautiful as it gives just a hint of colour to the cheeks – making them glow and radiant looking.

When I picked up these items from a local Givenchy counter, both Le Prisme Visage Bucolique in 1 Bucolic Blossoms and Le Prisme Blush Bucolique in 2 Bucolic Poppy have already been sold out. Lucky enough, I found them at Sephora in KL and so they came home with me too. I will feature them in a separate post as they surely deserves a shout-out.

I am not sure if these two lip products are from the Spring collection but they are really pretty.

Givenchy Rouge Interdit Satin Lipstick in 17 Rouge Cancan, S$41 for 3.5g, made in France and Givenchy Gelée D’Interdit Smoothing Gloss Balm Crystal Shine in 1 Tempting Rouge, S$41 for 6ml, made in France.

Givenchy is a brand I love, although I don’t have many of their products, I think they are worth exploring. Occasionally, they come up with the most innovative products and creative collections – something out-of-the-box in my opinion.

What are your favourite items from this brand? Are you looking forward to their Summer collection?

Thank you for reading.
