Hello everyone, another quick post on what I purchased from the Guerlain Liu Collection For Holiday 2012.
I am finally feeling the Christmas vibe as I am starting to shop for Christmas gifts. Well, that aside, Christmas collections are filling in, including gift sets and other holiday offerings. I love this season and I can’t wait to complete my shopping and see what brands have to offer this year.
Pleasantly surprised at DFS Airport beginning of the month, I spotted Guerlain’s holiday collection (out at TANGS Orchard, saw the collection on display) – I was really excited as they won’t expected till later this month. And so, at 6:30 in the morning, being still half asleep, I picked up three items. No regrets tho.
Meteorites Wulong has always been on my list and it comes in a hefty black lacquered metal compact. The compact seems so fragile, I won’t risk dropping it for sure.
I also picked up both the nail polishes in Altoum and Lou-Ling.
I will be reviewing and swatching all three items soon. Give me another week to play with them so I can do some proper write-up.
Liu Eye & Lip Calligraphy Palette looks gorgeous but I figured I have enough neutral eyeshadows plus I am not too keen on having cream and powder products in one palette so I passed. Ecrin 4 Couleurs Eyeshadow in Les Ombres Turandot is absolutely stunning – if I start getting one, I would have to own every single one of them and so I passed as well.
What are your picks from this collection? Have a great week ahead!
Thank you.
I could not resist and got the eye and red lip palette, absolutely stunning! Love the packaging and colors!
Hi Rola,
The palette is gorgeous – I guess it’s just me being worried of getting messy!!
LOL.. It’s very handy and portable too =)
xx
Love love the Meteorites Wulong Pressed Powder but the price tag is -jaw drops
It’s a great, great finishing powder =)
Yeap, pricey!!
Woo Hoo! I’ve got the Guerlain Meteorites Voyage Compact and to me, it’s really like the creme of the crop in the compact powder world! I was quite upset when I was told the refills is no longer sold in Singapore. But then again, we always have Nordstrom.
Awesome!!
