A Few Items From Clinique

Hello everyone, apart from stocking up on some regular products I use daily, I shopped for some new products to try too. Here are some of the items I bought from Clinique after my first acquaintance with the Clinique Age Defense BB Cream SPF 30/PA+++. You can also read my thoughts about the BB Cream here >

I got Clinique Derma White Bright-C Powder Makeup SPF 29/PA+++ to set the Clinique Age Defense BB Cream SPF 30/PA+++. Remember I have this habit of matching my powder with base from the same brand? It’s a rather unusual one but do you do that too? Anyway, I was matched with the shade 04 Cream Beige. The refill retails at S$56 and the Double-Decker White Marble Compact retails at S$21. The casing is really lightweight and pretty compact as compared to my usual rectangular ones from Chanel and Clarins.

I like how smooth and soft the powder feels on my skin. Will see how it wears with the BB Cream.

I am going to the beach tomorrow and I need some protection. Don’t think I want to be burnt like the last time. It was horrifying. Hopefully the Clinique Sun Face Cream SPF 50 will help. I am planning to use it all over the face and body. There is really not much use for me to get both face and body creams because I hardly go under the sun. Getting the face cream allows me to apply over the body too.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief is something I am looking forward to trying after Jane introduced it to me. It feels really refreshing upon application, thanks to its oil-free gel texture. Impart with active aloe delivers a burst of moisture which smooths, softens and plumps up fine dry lines. I think this product alone retails at S$75+ and I purchased the set above at S$83 – includes an All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage and Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss.

I am really excited with these new products. Can’t wait to find out how they work. Have you tried any of the products above?

  1. Hello Ms. Joey! Is the Clinique Derma White Bright-C oil-free? Usually it’s not indicated in their website. For example, their Perfectly Real Radiant Skin Powder Foundation is not advertised as an oil-free product. But upon checking the description on the box right above the ingredients, it is labeled as oil free. I realize that i could just check the clinique counters but they are hours away from my area. Looking forward to your reply. Thank you!

    • Hi Cha,
      Happy New Year!!
Oh my, I didn’t take note of whether it’s oil-free or not and I don’t have the box with me any more.
If I pop by Clinique, I will find out for you =)
