Le Blanc Delices du Chanel Makeup Collection

Le Blanc Delices du Chanel Makeup Collection

Hello everyone, I am back with a shopping post – showcasing mainly two items I purchased from Le Blanc Delices du Chanel Makeup Collection this year. Each year, Chanel rolls out a set of makeup designed specifically for their Le Blanc range. And every year the items are love.

I believe this is an Asian exclusive collection for now and it’s available at all Chanel stores island-wide (Singapore).

In this post, you will find product shots, some swatches and first impressions of the items. I haven’t had time to explore them on my face yet and I may not have time to do so soon because Chinese New Year is round the corner and I will be away most of this month.

Chanel Joues Contraste In 78 Délice (1)

Chanel Joues Contraste in 78 Délice – retails at S$67 for 4g of product, made in France.

You know me, I can never say no to face powders or highlighters. Because I own Rouge and Or, I thought it would be nice to have Délice too – now I have a red, gold and a white.

Délice is a shimmering, frosty white with multi-coloured micro shimmers and it is extremely pigmented. My swatch below doesn’t do justice to the product at all – you would have to see it in action to appreciate its beauty. The product shot above managed to briefly capture the shimmers.

This piece has delicately soft and refined shimmers, very silky to touch and light as air. There were bits of fly aways while I was swatching it.

Délice actually reminds me of the Le Blanc Pearl Light Brightening Loose Powder SPF10 PA+ in 10 Cristalline which I have yet to review. I shall compare them side by side to give you a better idea.

The other item I picked up is the Chanel Ombres Fleuries in Délicatesse – retails at S$96 for 4g of product, made in Italy.

As you can see, each shade has floral motifs embossed onto them – isn’t it pretty? It was pretty much “love at first swatch” – the colours are superbly pigmented, think Topkapi and the more recent Harmonie Du Soir. Texture is similar to those two mentioned, silky and creamy.

Délicatesse houses four shades of varies intensity and finish.

The first shade, a fresh minty green reminds me of Riviére but a tad less complex.

I am very excited about this little collection. I think the pieces are very beautiful and wearable. And I am very impressed with the quality of Délicatesse. Swatches you see above are swatched with light/medium intensity as I am trying my best to preserve the floral motifs.

Do you think you will pick up anything from this collection? Hope this post gives you a heads up and hope you find it helpful.

Thank you for looking.

  1. thanks for posting these! I can’t wait to check out the quad in person 😀 the highlighter looked a bit frosty in the pan but is subtle when swatched!

  2. Hi Joey, the swatches are beautiful!

I just wondered if you knew whether this collection is available in Thailand? I was going to ask a friend to purchase some items when he goes through the Airport there, as I don’t think we will be getting these at all in England 😦

    Thank you! x

  3. I just picked up the eyeshadow palette at the HK airport, but I’m glad to hear your good review and to see the swatches! The pattern is so pretty I couldn’t resist getting it 🙂

      • Any plans to do an eye look with this palette? I won’t be trying mine until I return home from traveling in another week or so. Would love to get your ideas on how to wear the mint green as I think we are similar in coloring.
